Date: October 17th, 2018 12:31 PM Author: Racy self-absorbed trailer park let's say SWIM was staying in a hotel. one night as he was pulling out of the parking lot, he might have hit a a parked car slightly, but wasn't aware that he HAD hit the care at the time, because his tire had popped up on a curb at the same time and jostled the car, and he assumed he'd only hit the curb, not the parked car. so he just left and went to the store.
when he returned to the hotel an hour later, he saw two police squad cars parked next to the parked car he *might* actually have struck and he started panicking. had he actually slightly dinged the car and then fled the scene after causing property damage to a vehicle?
it's possible the hotel has parking lot video cameras which recorded the incident, including images of SWIM's tag, or even of his face within the car.
should SWIM get a lawyer?

Date: October 17th, 2018 12:46 PM Author: indigo casino there is next to no chance that the police will even look at any surveillance videos in some hotel parking lot. first of all, those cameras are rarely even functional. second of all businesses hate letting third-parties have access to them without a subpoena, for trivial shit. they are just going to file a police report for his own insurance purposes. |
