At my ivy, it was just too competitive. All the pre-med kids were volunteering to wipe people's asses at hospitals on Friday night. Just couldn't justify doing that for the next 13 years given all the uncertainty with the medical field.
I think about how easy law school was and how it was all worthless bullshit. Can't imagine doing all the medicine BS only to look on webmd and hand people zpacks all day |

I particularly hated (and still hate) the thought of being around dying or miserable people with nothing I can do to fix it.
