I also trust my instincts, and they say that with respect to God, constantly questioning him will just annoy the fuck out of him. Think about yourself, and try to answer honestly. If you spent a lot of work creating something, would you seriously prefer your creation to constantly argue with what you asked it to do, and try to get around you? Or would you prefer that it appreciate you and thank you for creating it?

The most sacred prayer in Judaism in a prayer that proclaims the "oneness" of god and honors this. So, maybe your thinking on this topic should be more nuanced or fleshed out. Your conclusions may be on shaky ground.
