Example 1: There are quite a few reddit threads about how some poster got rejected by the military without any plan b and asking how can he maek it and serve his country. Usually due to a health issue like asthma, heart defect, or because their helicopter mom put them on a bunch of psych meds because that's what bigpharma wants. Redditors will generally reply with some platitude that doesn't answer his question like volunteer for vets and they will respect you. Sure, but you still aren't going to cop government benefits and vets will still look at you as an outsider unfortunately. Plus you won't get paid. They fail to answer how the poster can get a paycheck beyond sporadic hours in retail. |

And you'll have these ITE posters who cannot afford privates admonishing the poor Op for even considering taking privates as the whole point of BJJ is community or grappling with different people (most of whom for beginner classes are spazzy whitebelts). |

I was on a third date with a girl I had met on Tinder. She was wanting Italian food and there was a nice chain Italian restaurant known for their unlimited soups and breadsticks nearby. When we arrived it was pretty busy but we were seated fairly quickly. When the waitress arrived she had the breadsticks with her immediately.
My date and I decided we would split a bottle of wine but didn’t know what bottle we would like to split. The waitress said no problem and proceeded to pour us 4 full glasses each of the wines we were looking at as “samples”. By the time we finished our samples we were ready to order food and went ahead and ordered a bottle of wine. The meal went normally and the waitress was very friendly and helpful throughout the meal. When it came time to pay the waitress asked if we enjoy the chocolate mints that this chain brings with the check.
My date said that she did. So, when the waitress came back she brought out 3 large handfuls of mints. I looked at the check and it was just under $50. So, I threw a $100 bill in and we headed on our way with our loot of mints. So, my thanks goes out to that waitress for making a good date great. |
