Thousands of years of evolution boiled down to the men in tribes/groups fighting each other. The winners would take the loser’s women, kill her kids, and then have their own kids with her. Women who resisted this just were killed, probably raped first.
So the #1 survival quality that emerged for women was to quickly dispel/dissociate their prior emotional connections, bond with her new dominant captor, have his kids and love them. So I think that has carried over, and women are incapable of connecting to someone like a man is. The man’s POV was connect and fight till the death to defend it. The woman’s was just bond with the strongest mate, rinse and repeat if necessary (and throw the old connections out). So you need to keep subconsciously showing her that you are alpha and the best in order to keep that connection. |
