You become close and she finds out about your virginity requirement long before her sexual history comes up, and before you know she's interested in you. Unbeknownst to you, she has actually been smitten with you the whole time. Later when you start dating, she simply lies to you about her sexual history because she's worried she isn't good enough for you. Although slightly skeptical, you believe it. Three years into a marriage that is going well, but not fantastically, you're faced with irrefutable evidence that she was not a virgin. By happenstance, you come across an email exchange with an old boyfriend from a couple of years before you that makes it very clear that they were fucking, and enjoying it. When you confront her with this, she breaks down crying and immediately spills it all--she has a completely "normal" sexual history. She fucked her first boyfriend at 16 and had 4 other long term relationships. She has had 4 one night stands. There have been 5 guys that she dated intermittently without any agreement of exclusivity who primarily used her for sex (although she was hoping for more). Do you divorce her, not just for the sexual history, but for the lie? And what would you do if you were single again and you finally met your perfect Catholic virgin and she was very interested in you but also ADAMANT that her future husband be a virgin. Would you repeat your ex-wife's lie to a lesser degree? Assume you know for a fact that there is a 0% chance you will be found out, and also a 0% chance you will remarry if you do not lie.
