If your kids only give you a peak at this, then sorry about your dumb, boring kids. When I think about the most immersive, awe-inspiring moments in my life so far my kids own like 7 or 8 of the top 10. It’s not the same as how hyped I got the first time I played NES classic at age 8 or heard my all time favorite band’s best record at age 16 or fucked teenaged girls in late high school/early college years. But it’s way deeper and more transcendent v a feeling sensation kind of moment.

Similarly I feel like somewhat everyday natural beauty hits me harder as I age. Like when I was a small kid a forest full of leaves changing color was like “oh yeah fall” and now I go on hikes on the weekend and practically cum in my pants at the fall colors. A big part of that is GC slavery and the psychology of wagecucking. But still.

i think the problem is when you're a kid, the world seems so huge and the possibilities seem limitless. but when you're older you feel like you've got everything figured out, even stuff that you don't know much about. i think the solution is to actually take chances and adventure. go to another country that's not exactly safe to do some kind of business. quit your job to write a book or try to invent something. but i say this as a risk averse lolyer typing in my office
