Final P&L For The Year 3 MILLION (CSLG)

I'm waiting on a couple hundred K in fees and should receive at least 100K of it in the next 2 weeks. So I will hit about 3 million by year end from practicing law. This doesn't count my wife's in-house job (140K).
Taking questions. The progression has been pretty crazy. My firm has almost doubled in revenue every year since I started it 5 years ago. I made a bunch of audio/powerpoints and have already shared some with the board. I will be giving away the complete series for free to a bunch of people in January once it's a bit more polished.

if you have real estate, there are other things you can do beyond my realm of expertise, but i think ca re is fucked long term so it's being penny wise pound foolish. |

Plus I think having a wife that works keeps the relationship way healthier. We both have stuff to talk to each other about and it makes her feel valuable. She also likes her job.
Plus once I cut back to part-time/semi-retirement having that extra 140k/year plus health insurance will be great. |

I don't know much about this whole setup and so I reasonably made the assumption from CSLGs poast that this was a firm to firm referral and CSLG was not a part of their firm.
What's odd is that Chandler responded so angrily to my post trying to help him out by giving some advice. I think his high neuroticism lead to the cognitive distortion that I was insulting him rather than trying to offer helpful advice.
This is why you need to be really careful with neurotic people. Their near-constant cognitive distortions mean they rarely have a firm grasp on what's going on around them and they often lash out irrationally. |

The P&L shows 55k to retirement contributions. On its face, it looks like you probably did 18k employee and 37k in employer contributions for yourself. Perfect if it was just you and some contractors.
If you have other W2 employees, you can't be doing that. Can't have a 401k plan discriminating.

My requirements for my SEP are full time employment, over 21, at least 600 in earnings and 3 years at my company out of the last 5. Since my entity is a new entity this year (I redid my corp), none of the employees have been with me 3 years. So I dont have to contribute for any of them. This is all above board.
