I don't read anything in that CNN article that says "The FBI literally told Flynn theyd put his son in jail." I don't see anything substantive about his son's exposure
2. You have to be a real dumbfuck to think that Michael Flynn was coerced into pleading to one count of 18 USC 1001, given that it is almost certainly a probation offense for someone with a clean history.
3. You have to be an even dumber dumbfuck to think that someone whose only exposure was false statements would pay millions of dollars to Covington & Burling to defend that piddling shit.
4. The Cohen argument is even dumber. I don't even know what you think the quote you pasted shows. |

Both would have implicated his wife as well if prosecutors wanted to play hardball (and they obviously did since they were charging him with bank fraud for loans he was current on). He had no chance of defending against these crimes.
I'm sure the prosecutors said, hey, we won't charge your wife, and we'll go lenient on you, if you also plead to the campaign finance violation (which is the charge he could've easily beat).
