You aren't stronger than him once you are winded. He would probably chip away at you with feints and strikes from the outside, wait for your endurance to fail, and then either knock you out or assrape you on the ground. |

I was friends with a guy who was state runner up in wrestling at 152 lbs, and lost the finals to a guy who went on to be an NCAA champion. My friend was a D1 collegiate recruited wrestler.
My friend worked out that summer against a then-current top 10 NCAA wrestler at 125 lbs and my friend gave up 97 takedowns and scored 2.
Levels are real, and they are brutal.
I am also friends with someone who was a state champion and then wrestled at Iowa. It took him 2.5 years to get a single takedown in the practice room. He was a starter at Iowa his senior year and all-Big 10. |

A Demetrius Johnson or Max Holloway might be able to outpoint me by doing leg kicks and running away for 3 rounds, but that's not going to get the finish. And if they tried to mix it up I'd walk through their strikes and easily tie them up and get trip takedowns, and just stay on top working just enough for the ref not to stand it back up. |

He probably can't even put up two plates a single time. I'm in the middle of a cut right now and will probably end up at around 160 when I finish up at 10-12% bodyfat. Except I can put up 225 for 8-9 reps even at 5'11 weighing in the high 160s. This manlet is 5'6. I could fight that fucker IN HIS OWN WEIGHT CLASS and he'd be giving up major size and strength to me.
Now were I to do the hypo in the OP, it would be not at the end of a cut when I'm weak, but after a bullet when I'm strong. I'd probably be at 175-180 walking around weight, which has me putting up 225 for 15+ reps.
It would be a MASSIVE power difference between me and some flyweight. I'd be 50% heavier and more than 50% stronger, with much, much longer reach.

I do have some nagging injuries--a torn left pec and a torn ACL that needed two different surgeries to get semi-right. All of my posts in this thread are made under a hypothetical scenario where I don't have these two injuries. The ACL makes me slower and more awkward on my feet. The pec is probably taking about 30lbs off my bench press due to an imbalance between the two sides. So, technically, I admit that the posters claiming I would be finished might be right.
