1) I moved from Texas to SoCal and lived in a heavily Chinese development (complete with birthing houses) with a Chinese landlord for a year.I now work in Irvine, where the average house goes for over a million dollars due partially to foreign buyers and over 50 percent of houses are bought by Chinese. I have had negative interactions with mainland Chinese people when traveling abroad, on XO, and in daily life in SoCal. Let’s just say familiarity has not resulted in fondness.
2) I work for a defense contractor and am acutely aware of Chinese-related national security issues. I have an extremely negative view of the Chinese government and Its actions and view them as a threat to the US. It wouldn’t be wildly inaccurate to say I have ethno-nationalist political views.
I don’t hate all Chinese people and have met a number of 180 Chinese people IRL and had some Chinese poasters reach out offline when I was having issues with my wife and I appreciated it. |

Bannon, who claims to have been “one of the biggest China hawks” in the president’s circle of advisers even before the trade war Trump started this year, also called Beijing’s “totalitarian political and economic system” the root of the rivalry between the two great powers.
Unrestricted Warfare, a book on military strategy by two senior People’s Liberation Army officers impressed Bannon when he read it in 2010.
The book by Qiao Liang, a retired military theorist, and Wang Xiangsui, who now teaches at Beihang University, was first published in Chinese in 1999 and translated into English 10 years later.
The two officers contended that no country could challenge the military supremacy of the United States through conventional means, or so-called kinetic warfare. The only hope, they argued, was to wear the US down gradually with what they termed economic and information warfare.
Bannon said one of the lessons he took from the book was that since it would take time for China to catch up with the United States militarily, Beijing had been focusing for the past decades on using information and economic means to weaken the US.
“The whole [Chinese] strategy is to avoid kinetic warfare and focus on information and economic [warfare],” Bannon said in an exclusive interview recently.
In his very first meeting with Trump in 2015 to prepare for the presidential campaign, China was among the topics they discussed, Bannon said.
“I told him China has been engaging in an economic war against us for the past 20 or 25 years,” he said, adding that Trump agreed with him. |

New nanny is crazy good at her job. She is really pleasant and happy and 100% attentive to my daughter all day long. Without being asked, she regularly cleans our house and hand washes our dishes while the baby naps. She also walks our dog and does meal prep. All for $14 hour. We were paying a 24 year old college-educated white girl $15 hour to be our nanny and she was lazy as shit. I have had similar experiences with a number of different home renovation/yard work tasks over the years.
I am all for the mass deportation of illegals and having merit-based immigration but I can see why rich whites are pro-illegals. If you don't have to interact with them outside of cheap household labor it is a good deal. Many of them work much harder than entitled whites or blacks. There should be a temporary guest-worker program with no path to citizenship or long-term residency for certain jobs.
