Dancing used to require you to learn different steps, and it was something that you could actually develop skill in if you were so inclined.
And then we basically chucked all of that out of the window, and people just kind of do the same gyrations over and over again for hours on end. I have no idea how they can do that without wanting to kill themselves from boredom.
The decline in dance, modern art, modern architecture, film, etc. over the past 70 years has been remarkable. An archeologist studying our civilization would think some disease or war had broken out which caused us to regress to a primitive state.
