3. I will make up some of the $$ on the back end when I hit the Social Security cap which is like 8K of payments for the year
Individually these don't explain it, but taken together it explains why I am seeing so little in my take home pay |

Also, you control your own withholding, so you can have them withhold as little or as much as you want (but you'll be penalized if you underpay by like 10%). |
