This season needs some more macabre elements to it and it looked like Ep 3 was setting that up with the chicken plant/church/Amelia threads.
I also think they're talking about Hays' tracking/hunting ability and Nam experience too much for it not to play out in some violence eventually. |

Military service is a means for the white bros to bond with the somewhat anti-social black bro. This is precisely how IRL people handled racism, especially in more rural settings, until the SJW shit took hold.
As a guy who grew up in a rural setting, E3 is doing an excellent job depicting the real nature of race relations back then in such places. Yes, it is present, but it was incredibly easy to overcome 99% of the time on an individual basis. The white cop wanting falling all over himself to take the hot WOC out to dinner is another good example of this.
