one shouldn't go to movies (including viewing them via Netflix etc) unless one thinks that the movie will better one's self in some way.
this might be by encouraging personal aspirations of being a hero (ie Marvel, DC), might be artful kino, might be a way to bond with co-workers/friends/family over smalltalk, or might be dumb fun (Transformers)
most films advertised are generic fluff. Not every month (or season) is there a worthwhile film |
