But for nearly 3mm you could buy a nice place in Seattle or at least waterfront property in Tacoma. Downtown Tacoma is a dump. It just doesn't check out. You'd have to really love Tacoma.

Great book Sons of the Profits covers the history of Seattle up to the Alaska Exposition. Great read if you haven't checked it out.

I like Olympia a lot and even considered a job there. Water front house on the south sound is very doable.
