She has about twenty porcelain dolls inside a glass cabinet that's supposed to be locked at all times. But sometimes I'll notice in the mornings that the door is slightly ajar or that some of the dolls seem to be sitting differently than they were the night before.
I've also had the feeling sometimes of being watched when I'm near the display cabinet, and one time as I was walking across the room I swore I could see out of the corner of my eye some of the doll heads following me.
I'm concerned they might be getting bolder and bolder and will one night try to kill me in my sleep.
I'm thinking about taking one of the dolls and lighting it on fire in front of the others so that they realize I'm not to be fucked with.
Any other bros ever have to deal with something similar?

We'd visit my Grandmother's house in New Orleans growing up about once or twice a year. It was an old, New Orleans house. Weird noises at night - rumored to be a ghost (but was really this weird shadow or something that happened when one of the old tv's changed brightness / flashed and this interacted with a lamp shade across the room in some weird way - I "saw it" once when I was about 10, went silent immediately and my gut just sank with dread). The first time my grandmother saw the ghost my aunt was with her and apparently she went completely white in her seat.
But perhaps the freakiest part of all - was a side room, dining room perhaps, off to the left immediately entering the house before you got to the living room, that was filled with these dolls from her collection. The room freaked the shit out of me and I could never go in it for more than a few seconds.
I don't know how to explain it - but the "multitude" of the dolls really freaked you out. Like it was a crowd of them, they were all staring and looking, and they all probably knew each other too. More than that - they knew each other but didn't know you - so you were a stranger in their room. The room felt "busy with thought"
I was 10 btw
