It's never been a better time to be a gunmo imo, especially if you like plastique handguns or plastique ARs.

It's a great gun but I figure my 1911 still shoots better irl. Would still almost rather have a Glock brand Glock, idk.

There are gun deals like this all the time. I lurk r/gundeals. It's resulted in me purchasing Stupid/amazing shit because prices drop so much.

It's all supply/demand... right now there are like literally 27 Glock clones on the market beause the Army was testing new handguns, and .40 S&W is on its way out. Internet posters hate .40 because they think it has snappy recoil. They are idiots though, for a defensive weapon anyway.

I got an M&P15 for $500, and then they kept going down.

It's cool af but it's the most useless thing I own. Most ranges DEMAND you shoot as slowly as possible.

Basically I took it to the range once to sight it in and then stopped caring.

.45 is also less popular but somewhat less common... I want a threaded .45 since it's subsonic but nothing like that is ever on sale. The holy grail of internet autists is a 9mm Glock 19, they never go on sale. In their mind, it's the size of an iphone and has unlimited capacity. In reality it's the size of a Gamecube and just has the advantage of an extra round or 2 versus other guns, as well as not looking goofy, but the trigger basically makes 85% of shooters just sort of hit wherever.

ATF fucked me and either forgot to mail or lost my tax stamp that was approved months ago. Government is a fucking useless entity.

To the point of this thread, this silencer was literally $400 out the door including shipping, tax stamp, and transfer fee. Ridiculous deal considering it's a reputable brand name that was on clearance.

I own two suppressors, one for 223 (which can also be used on .22, but its heavy), and a 9mm/.45 hybrid.

I think I want to get one of those integrally suppressed Ruger 10/22s next. Whisper quiet. https://ruger.com/micros/silent-sr-ISB/index.html

180000000

I have an SBR Scorpion with a suppressor, its absolutely sick. So glad I got this instead of a Sig MPX (I'm all in supressor/SBR and gun for less than an off the shelf MPX) and with an EO Tech its simply silly fun to shoot

What barrel length is your AR SBR? I have a 12" SBR suppressed AR

Yeah I keep seeing these but it's like, as Libs would say, "really? really?" You're basically a wannabe assassin at that point. If you're going to go there, just get a .45 - but sadly, all irl suppressed .45s are Stupid handguns.

I see so many 9mm suppressed guns on the internets but how loud is it versus suppressed .45?

I've never shot my suppressor with a .45 so I'm not sure. Its not bad at all with 9mm though

my .223 suppressor on a .22 handgun I have is REALLY quiet though, using standard .22 ammo. Apparently subsonic .22 with a suppressor sounds like a stapler.

45 is quieter than standard 9mm because it's inherently subsonic. You need to get 147 grain or heavier 9mm ammo to get subsonic performance and then they're only marginally quieter like 1-3 dB

Yeah I know, that's why I was asking. I see internet posters salivating over suppressed full-sized 9mms and I'm like wtf. Like they want to check all of their gun nerd boxes even if the finshed product makes no sense.

Never heard of it but probably can't go wrong. A bolt action .22 basically won't break. But you could probably do better on price if you just look around irl. It's not like buying a Glock where it costs the same used as new because of idiots. 22 rifles don't really hold value.

Internet is good for expensive guns especially beause you avoid sales tax if they are out of state, but you get stuck with a flat transfer fee.

My S&W is decent, only thing I don't like is the white lettering on the lower. Internet poasters really like the Ruger MPR when it goes on sale; it has various modifications to make it more marksmanlike.

The REALLY cheap ones are probably fine too but there's an assumption of risk there.
