Mazdas are 180, wtf
The CX-5 and CX-9 are among the highest rated in their class
Same with the 3 and 6

Higher status? Are you being serious?
Subarus look so TTT to me, I could never picture myself driving one and Toyotas while reliable, seem extremely boring to me
I will admit the mazdas have average reliability but I don't see that as an issue unless you are hell bent on driving a car for 200k miles

Just put in an order for the RAV4 Hybrid brother.
I decided that for around the same price as the outback the hybrid was a better deal in that Toyota does 2 years free maintenance plus the fact that Toyota seems to have their hybrid systems very dialed in terms of longevity and good driving feel.
While Subaru’s are great and I was previously leaning towards the 2020 outback I have some concerns about reliability in comparison to the Toyota and the lack of a hybrid made it as easy choice.
I would go check out the gas rav4’s in person just to get a feel of the interiors. I actually thought they were pretty nice even on the base models.
As an FYI; the new outback is gonna be launched in 2 days if that makes your decision any easier.

Going solo in a month so just leasing base model and writing off lease. Plan to buy hse or limited in 3 years unless there’s a serious competitor.
Was considering hse this year but hate the blue trim and stitching.
Price bump from LE to XLE didn’t make sense in hybrid. Basically no difference between the two unless you start adding packages at which point you may as well jump to hse.

After calling every dealership in Southern California... full msrp lol.
36 mo/15k miles, 870 drive off and 426 per month including tax.
Actually sent that offer around to about ten different dealers who had a car matching my specs on its way or in production and heard from several that there was no way for them to beat it.
Got some dudes info off leasehackr who’s some kind of fleet manager at an oc toyota dealership and maintains a spreadsheet of the best lease terms he can offer which he will share. He refuses to negotiate (I tried) and encourages you to shop his deals around (I did). He beat everyone I talked to.
If you give me a throwaway email I’ll give you his info.
I believe my rav is in production today or tmw and should be delivered in early May.
If you wait a couple months you’ll probably have way more room to negotiate as dealers start to get more stock in. Currently there’s nothing physically on lots and only cars being built or scheduled to be built. To actual order a car from scratch is apparently a significant wait time right now.

There’s no way that’s true. I’m paying no money down except drive off and it’s a 15,000 mile lease.
Retail was a couple hundred under 30,000.
If you can find some offer or comparable lease for the Lexus hybrid I could easily get out of this and go with that.
[EDIT] I do see that someone leased the nx 300h for 398 per month not including tax on 12,000 miles at 36 mos which is around the same as my lease payment with tax however the miles are lower and they got a 2500 loyalty discount which I don’t think I would be eligible for. The nx hybrid also seems to get comparatively shitty gas mileage, 30 v 40, is slower than the RAV4 hybrid 7.5 0-60 v 9.1.

I'd only be buying new if I choose Toyota. I tested out one of the gas models (the ugly fucking Adventure trim) and did like the interior.
If I go Toyota, I'd get the Hybrid XSE.
If I go Subaru, I'd get the XT Touring from 2017 or 2018 CPO or maybe just a 2016 Limited to save money.
