At what point would the jeopardy producers start to sabotage this guy?

I've thought about this. They might try to get him involved in some tournament of champions thing prematurely so they can bring back guys like Jennings, Rutter, etc.
At least if you stack good people against him, there's a decent chance he'll lose, even if he's stronger than them.

in that case i guess they'll just have to scout hard for tough opponents.
either that or pay some vegas mobsters to kill him and pin it on a bookie to whom he owed money.

Alex Trebek's salary is like $10-12mm and the show's owners are scared af that jeopardy will simply drop off the face of the earth when he's no longer host.
given that he's upping people's interest in the show, I doubt they're super worried about the extra $30k or whatever they're paying out on this guy's avg wins.

he plays a dangerous game. i don't think he'll make it to 74 games like KJ, but I do think he'll reach KJ's total (which at his rate will be about 30 games).
he HAS missed questions, and in fact he has missed both a DD and a FJ question. all it takes is one bad night where both of these things happen against another strong opponent.
