Are you solo? Renting a car or small moho?

For a week, I think I'd start off by heading north and seeing Denali, maybe stay the night, then drive back south following day, stay in Anchorage for a day, then spend the next four/five days on the Kenai Peninsula. Plan on heading to Seward first, do a half day glacier/whale watching cruise. Don't do the full day, you'll thank me later. You could do an easy hike to Exit Glacier and see how far it's receded as you pass signs showing where it ended in which year. Then plan on heading to Homer. I would arrange a halibut fishing charter and spending a night or two in Homer. Kenai/Soldotna are going to be boring, because there is no trout fishing during that weekend and salmon haven't really started hitting the river yet. You have to drive thru Soldotna to get to Homer. You could make a detour through Kenai, but there's really not a lot to see or do. I'll be home and I'm planning on Halibut fishing a few days out of Ninilchik/Deep Creek during that week. Not sure which Pumo this is, so I'm hesitant to give out an offer. But, you can hit up my throwaway.
