You know how Aladdin becomes a prince and has to continually lie to Jasmine about who he is, creating the main source of dramatic tension in the film? In this movie Jasmine (the smartest person in the movie but we'll get to that later) figures it out in literally the first night she meets Prince Ali.
They make Genie an actual person in this movie. There's an entire sideplot about him falling in love with Jasmine's handmaid. No I'm not kidding.
Jasmine gets to be SULTAN in this version of the tale. GRRLPWR.
Jasmine has two soliloquies in the middle of scenes were she sings a song about how she won't be silenced. Can't make this stuff up.
And my favorite: the ONE white male in the entire film is a buffoon. He speaks with a ridiculous accent, is cartoonishly effete and does things like call Jasmine's tiger kitty and tries to pet it.

Society now encourages women to fight unwinnable battles but rigs those battles so the females always win. It would be like if the girl "bravely" stood in front of the bull but then a sniper shot it in the head.
Rey is a great example. She doesn't win because, like Luke, she struggled and studied and evolved to a point where she was a legitimate warrior, suffered terrible defeats, and learns from them. She wins with zero effort because ... girl power? In other words, the most important thing is being female. This, of course, does everyone a huge disservice.
I recently saw a little family with a little boy walking with a "girl power" t-shirt. This is the society we now live in. |

The entire movie is about how an American living in Ireland marries an incorrigible wife. He won't beat her or discipline her out of misplaced sense of honor.
In the movie's ending, John Wayne has an epiphany and literally kicks his wife down a dirt road for miles while the local Irish villagers cheer him on. The wife, finally satisfied with her husband's manliness and dominance, happily goes and makes John Wayne dinner.
That - was a good fucking movie. |

Three out of four of the recent Star Wars movies (produced by Disney) featured a hyper-competent brunette woman protagonist. The fourth movie, "Solo: A Star Wars Story", featured a barely-competent Han Solo, who was assisted by a hyper-competent brunette woman, a robo-sexual black man, and a robot who caused a Marxist revolution of the robot working class.
The new face of Marvel (owned by Disney) is Captain Marvel, an aggressively female-supremacist superhero, played by an obnoxious identitarian activist. Over the course of the last several years, Marvel has gone out of their way to diminish their white male protagonists, and replace them with women, and people of color.
Disney's animation department has been releasing relentless leftist propoganda for years, as best exemplified by Frozen, a movie whose core message is that women do not need men to succeed, and should rely on other women instead.
Disney's re-imagining of "classic" movies includes the garbage Alladin movie that OP, who actually saw the movie, interpreted as SJW garbage. Other examples include "Beauty and the Beast", starring Emma Watson, the United Nations Goodwill ambassador behind the feminist "He for She" movement, and "Malificent", a re-imagining of the original Snow White villain as a self-empowered female protagonist who fights against patriarchal oppression.

Both Anna and Elsa are great female role models. But if I had a son, I am not sure I would want to expose him to this movie at a young age.
The supporting cast, including Kristof, are great. But make no mistake, Kristof is more comic relief than an indispensable male lead. Even though I recall the scene with the wolves, Kristof is nothing like the "knights in shining armor" of classic children's fiction.
But just because a movie is good doesn't mean that it isn't also propaganda. The most effective propaganda is also great art.
This scene from the ending really shows who wears the pants in the Anna/Kristof relationship. Disney goes out of their way to demonstrate that Anna doesn't need Kristof. She is a strong, independent woman, who doesn't need Kristof to fight on her behalf:
