The internet came into existence because the government spent like a trillion dollars on it. Would it have happened otherwise?

If I had dictatorial powers I would lay off 10 million of the 20 million government workers which would save apprixmately $100 billion per year. I would create vast Hoovervilles for laid off civil servants+factory bros+ people who bombed OCI and don't want to serve coffee, and come up with ways to foster conflicts which require HIGH commitment of expendable manpower. Maybe work out the details behind the scenes with Chinamen and Jews. |
