I also love their Red Label shirts. All my chinos and quasi casual pants are Banana Republic because you cant go wrong their Aiden cut for $50. My shoes are all Rockports because they are basically sneakers and I dont give one fuck how ugly they are. They are the most comfortably dress like shoes you can pull off in the workplace. dress/work pants - almost all banana republic. BR fits me better than any other pants for whatever reason
dress shirts - currently all are either Brooks Brothers Regent or Lord & Taylor Black Brown slim fits. I have one Charles Tyrwit that is just ok
dress shoes - my day to day work shoes are mostly johnston and murphey or clarks, probably wear the clarks most often (like 4-5 pair of them)
plain t shirts - fruit of the loom multi pack from target, usually in the grey and blue/black colors. same with socks
running shorts - all nike
suits - one custom suit that my grandfather bought me, three from Jos A Bank from some 3 for 1 sale from 10 years ago, and another suit that I had to buy for a wedding that is probably my favorite now in terms of fit, not sure what brand but we got a wedding discount and it was pretty cheap. |

Neiman Marcus undershirts from outlet - have been wearing them for almost 20 years with some failed experiments with Kirkland, Hanes, and Calvin Klein (all from Costco). Might try Uniqlo next time since they are universally adored here.
No other strong brand loyalty. I haven't bought an item of dress-up clothing in >10 years. Might get a new suit at Suit Supply sometime and donate the old ones. |
