She also schedules conference rooms for me, although this stuff can be done online now and is arguably faster to do myself
What else can she do? I don't use a paper log book for my time, and I find it is easier for me to just enter my own hours. And don't say proofread, as I often use to LAs to do that. |

A good secretary proofreads long documents and even asks questions about content.
A good secretary does not need to be reminded to follow-up on future tasks, such as communications with court clerks or your state bar association.
A good secretary does all your time, including the laborious task of entering activity codes.
A good secretary files all your documents and makes sure everything is properly served.
A good secretary can be trusted to comb a massive file for certain documents.
A good secretary will do work that you can later bill time on.

so i soon had to do everything myself.
this was a shitty 15 or so attorney firm. i hated it and quit. |
