When I went downstairs, there was one just looking at me and he ran away.

My new strategy is that I have duct taped the death chamber to the Shelf where they like to hang out, and also put up a bunch of strips of duct tape in that whole area face-up hoping that they'll get their paws stuck and make a racket and I can go net them.

For the duct tape they used to sell those sticky traps but PETA types got them banned. They actually sucked for catching mice but were terrific at nabbing birds. I tacked some by the nest and starling was caught in minutes.
