Date: August 21st, 2019 8:14 PM Author: Razzmatazz Primrose Casino Ladyboy Although Dragon Warrior 2 has multiple player characters, multiple monster combat and lots more spells, weapons and equipment, in many ways it feels like a step back from Dragon Warrior 1, which wasn't a great game in the first place. The menu system is a chore to navigate and it takes forever to do simple things like equip weapons. The random encounter rate is through the roof, bogging the game down. Even the graphics are WORSE than DW1 since there are no longer any backgrounds in combat, just a black screen (wtf?). Overall I still say its better than DW1 just because DW1 was too simplistic to be funny, but DW2 is not a good jrpg even for its time.
