Forget about the tiny minority who go into banking or tech coding. 70k is a great salary for the college grad. Most people make less than that. There are millions of college educated people in their 30s and 40s who make barely 70k. Even in places like DC and California.
70k at 22 makes it much easier to be at 200k by 30-35. |

I've seen the salary scales for different roles in my company. 70k is very, very good for 22 year olds. I would gladly pay 250k for college for my kids if it substantially increased the odds they could walk into a 70k salary without any other special hooks or grad degrees.
The more you make at a younger age, the more it really pays off down the road. |

It has worse test scores and incoming GPA than UCLA and should be ranked down near it 40.
