The two hands to the face calls are terrible. Here's what I don't get, if you don't see that penalty very clearly, why would you throw the flag? Nobody is going to go nuts over a not called hands tot he face. So there's really no excuse for getting deked by the lineman throwing his head back. |

If that flag doesn't get thrown, the Packers still take the lead. They were in chip-shot field goal range.
Stafford gets the ball back in his hands with under 1:30 on the clock and zero time outs. However, the Lions really weren't able to move the ball at all in the second half. Lions had 63 yards of net offense on six drives in the second half. I really don't see them putting together a competent two minute drill with that little time and no TOs. |

There is some bad, bad officiating in the NFL and it makes the game hard to watch. Somehow, college officiating seems to be a much higher quality, even in leagues with limited review. |

One guy marked him short, the other said it was a TD. ESPN was never able to show an angle of the play where they ball got across but the league was somehow able to conduct an extremely quick scoring review
I think the officiating in college can be perceived as better because the level of play isn't nearly as high. Even the best CFB defenses don't have DBs that can stick to WRs like NFL DBs do |
