JAFAR's planescape comparison is pretty spot-on actually. You're this blank slate amnesiac who's just trying to figure shit out whilst navigating an unfamiliar world. And there's not much combat in the traditional sense, more tussling with inanimate objects, voices in your head, and engaging in battles of wits with others - all with a backdrop of some very well-written communist gallows humor. And tons and tons of skill checks. |
