Fly in the ointment: Bernie himself isn’t tarded or residual commie enough to think that there’s no concern at all about Trump’s chumminess with the current Russian “state”
Non retard lefty guy here, btw. Not gonna suck greenwald’s shitstained cock tho, etc.

I dunno what Bernie has said specifically, it's kind of besides the point. At the very least he hasn't been yelling "All roads lead to Putin" like some of the other Dem idiots.
I don't find Trump's stance toward Russia odd at all--he believed there were areas where the countries interests overlapped and thought it would be better to improve relations to cooperate on those issues. That's sound policy, but the "intelligence community" in all their wisdom saw this as a threat to their continuous war policy particularly in places like Syria and were determined to cut this off at the knees, largely successfully. Russia being an "authoritarian" state is also besides the point--the US has constantly had friendly relationships with authoritarian regimes when it suited their own interests. The problem with Trump was he picked the wrong country to warm up to. Lifetime civil servants saw this as an affront to their view of the world. This can be seen vividly in the testimony of Lt Col Vindman, who was so outraged that Trump was going against "our policy" in Ukraine. Newsflash asshole, the President sets the policy.

Your position here seems to be motivated by unhinged hatred of Trump. Of course he has reasons for his policies like anyone else, and not all of them are awful. He does seem to admire strongmen personally, but that shouldn't cloud the picture of whether a particular position is wise. In my view, his take on Russia expressed in the 2016 election was the correct one, and it influenced my vote.
Russia is not a cartoon villain to be opposed at every possible stage regardless of cost or national interest (you seem to agree). But you still feel the need to refer to "greenwald Putin cocksucking", when all he has done is examine the facts objectively. I admire Greenwald greatly for recognizing Russiagate as a fraud and an incredibly harmful distraction to the public political discourse, even knowing he would be unjustly smeared as a "Putin cocksucker" for daring to question mainstream lib orthodoxy.
Bernie may not have been as brave as Greenwald in this whole affair, but I trust him to keep his eye on the class issues that he has focused on his entire political life, and to be skeptical of an intelligence community filled to the brim with neocons and whose record is not exactly sparkling. I'd still prefer Tulsi as the candidate, but Bernie is the next best thing. The other Dems are garbage.
