bitcoin's value is largely increasing because of a) growing adoption of crypto as a means of speculation and b) liquidity network effects that increase its utility as a means of evading regulation/breaking the law. i think the addressable markets for both use cases is still largely untapped.
however, you're right that it's unlikely generate insane 100x, 1000x returns. 10x is plausible from here over 5ish years, with maybe a bubble or two taking it up briefly higher. |
