There was no actual run on the ruble or on the banks inside Russia which is all that Putin actually cares about. Russian banks are not only still solvent with $25 oil but still profitable. He doesnt give one fuck about the nominal exchange rate. Russian imports from the West are already down like 83 or 87%. Its an insane figure but life continues on pace.
