Post your COVID-19 symptoms or lack thereof here to track your recovery or deterioration into death. If you don't regularly check in to these threads we will assume you are det.

I'll go first: slight fever, occasional nausea, fatigue, sore raspy throat, slight wheezing and shortness of breath, tightness in chest, no coughing yet.

Day 1: Slightly sore throat, blushing but no "fever" that disappeared and mild fatigue

Day 2: Throat ok but increased phlegm

Day 3: Phlegm

Day 4: Phlegm

Day 5: Blushing/low fever (don't have exact temperature) that appeared for ~1 hour after having dinner and gone

Day 6: Increased phlegm, but otherwise ok.

I could attribute the phlegm to seasonal allergies but the blushing/low-grade fever is something I haven't had before.

But it'a possible that I am being extra sensitive to any changes I'm having. Hoping the mild fatigue and blushing are anxiety-driven. No coughing.

Does anyone know if symptoms can be "on and off"?

UPDATE 3/25/20:

It's been about 8 days since onset of symptoms (fatigue, feverish feeling that's not quite fever).

Feeling fine except nasal congestion, phlegm, and occasional minor chest tightness. Feverish feelings sometimes, but I am not sure if this is me being hypochondriac (I felt feverish after hot shower yesterday but can't tell if it's different than the typical feeling of heat/sweat after shower). Also, my appetite that was low (smell/taste untouched) has been slowly recovering.

No cough, no shortness of breath, but this weird "dizziness" is still present. My head feels a little "off" when I turn it to seek a new activity, if that makes sense. Not significantly bothersome but still something.

Hope we all come through.

UPDATE: Think I just beat this weak ass virus. Rested and napped yesterday and now throat is clear. Literally felt the virus retreating from my lungs and chest feels great. Slight fatigue this morning but now feel better than I have in a couple weeks.

This is my day 8 of a mild sore throat and phlegm. No real deterioration felt thus far in 8 days, but symptoms not going away either.

these are the exact symptoms i had in february. i never had a sore throat last so long and it was a lot more mild than the typical sore throat i get with a cold, which is the worst symptom for me, but only lasts a couple of days. the sore throat went away before the phlegm did (after a week or so), which i would only cough up in the morning.

also one other note on this. one night during that week i went to the gym and tried to run on a treadmill and lasted like 5 minutes and was out of breath for like 30 MINUTES afterward. like i felt like i couldn't breathe, and was kinda scary. that had never happened before.

otherwise, never noticed any breathing problems while i was sick with whatever that was.

I had those symptoms in February, but a really bad dry cough too:

http://xoxohth.com/thread.php?thread_id=4471484&mc=66&forum_id=2

I'd get completely gassed after 15 mins of light exercise during this time. After symptoms went away, I was generally tired as hell most of February and early March, but part of the reason was because I had to catch up with work.

I had a dry cough for a few days. Was waking up with a dry throat and stuffy nose. Cough has waned and throat wasn’t too bad this morning but still a little sore. Chalked it up to seasonal allergies. Still going on my runs and working out at home.

bad sore throat several days last week and congestion with a cough

Cough has continued although sore through gone and congestion is mostly gone - seems to be caused mostly by post-nasal drip and not anything in my lungs

some sneezing that I attribute to seasonal allergies

No fever

babby dude is also coughing with a runny nose but no fever

Runny nose / sore throat about 3 weeks ago. Then lots of phlegm for 3 weeks without other symptoms.

Then yesterday, all of sudden, tons of sneezing and non-stop runny nose. Tonight diarrhea and chills.

No fever or coughing yet. Maybe some shortness of breath or just anxiety?

How fucked?

3/9-3/10: mild post nasal drip, mild sore throat, scratchy throat, throaty cough.

3/11-3/13: lots of chills, low grade fever, but nothing too bad. Just a strange feeling of unwellness.

3/14-3/17: energy levels feel good. No more fevers or chills, but chest cough begins.

3/18-3/20: chest cough worsening, feeling of congestion, shortness of breath peaks on Friday night. Was a little worried I could be headed for the hospital.

3/21: woke up feeling better. Spend a lot of time outdoors with friends. Some minor cough.

3/22: felt fine all day. Went mountain biking for three hours and did some good climbing. No cough. Some minor sore throat in evening.

Few days of runny nose, sneezing, light cough, congestion.

Then had a couple drinks one night, and got absolutely floored the next morning.

Non-stop sneezing / runny nose, brutal diarrhea, brutal chills, awful fever at night, woke up absolutely drenched.

Test is tomorrow at drive-in, but doc said I'm most likely pos.

Possible, they told me today I could have regular flu + wuhan flu, or cold + wuhan flu.

But the fever is a bad sign.

I've had a weird productive/mucus cough every morning for the past 3-4 weeks but it disappears during the day. Yesterday I had EXPLOSIVE DIARRHEA and upset stomach for an hour, then felt better.

Today I feel fine.

3/4 - potentially exposed

3/9ish - started feeling some chest congestion. feels sort of similar to what I've felt with seasonal allergy issues in the past

3/13 - came home and passed out at like 8:30 feeling lethargic and like I had the chills.... but took temperature and had no fever

3/13 to present (3/23) -- still mild chest congestion that can feel almost like shortness of breath if I think about it too hard and get anxious. but never developed fever and have felt no other symptoms. starting to think it really is just hay fever or whatever... but the 3/13 pass out with chills was weird

I'm basically experiencing exactly what you have describe. My main symptoms have been a dry hack/cough, not what I would describe as shortness of breath but almost like a lung 'tightness' or something? But not to the point it's worrisome, and fatigue. Just passing out of tiredness. Slight chills occasionally but no fever. Sort of feels like a bad cold without the runny nose, though my nose has felt clogged.

Potentially exposed 3/15 and got symptoms a week later.

Sore throat. Mild cough. Slightly labored breathing. Lymph nodes sore and swolen. Temp had hovered from 99-100.5. This has been going on for five days. Fortunately for me, I haven’t lost my sense of smell, and my wife and I had beans for dinner.

Another thread discussed - but is the cough always dry? (think so). I'm still thinking a lot of us got it in January and didnt know what it was. I had a bad flu for a few days, and have had a cough since but otherwise feel fine. Still have a bit of phlegm now and again and cough every few hrs. If I didnt already have it im terrified of getting it now if im already having lung / coughing issues.

Totally recovered from all symptoms today. Virus seems Low-T, if I had it, which I will never know.

Seems reasonable that it gave me mild viral myocarditis also, as many symptoms were heart related. If it got back, could see why these mofos are dropping over dead (and emergency rooms are saying that heart issues are a big component of the virus's power). Just do a twitter search for myocarditis covid and you'll see.

Yea for every ultra successful virus that’s has an insanely lucky combination of traits that work well together we can imagine there are millions that don’t do shit.

I don't think most deaths are occurring like that - most deaths seem to be people on death's door who can't breathe.

Some people sure, if the virus ravages their heart and then the body fights it off, but leaves them totally damaged, they will die of a heart attack.

2/25; Was in San Diego when they got their first cases end of February, flew home week later, but had been around lots of ppl while there, everyday.

3/2: was ok for couple days then got chills, felt like shit for two days, temp unknown, no cough just exhausted and cold and hot all the time in a weird way. Slept a lot

3/6: after 4 days, felt normal again.

No one on the plane was coughing, in fact was one of the quietest plane ride i've ever been on. No idea what the illness was.

3/25: Runny nose, stuffed up but I think its from wearing a dusty N95 ive had in back of car for like 8 years. Otherwise feel fine and no cough
