I don't really use CNN much. I have a lot of sources I draw from across the political spectrum.
Here's the quote:
“And again, when you have 15 people, and the 15 within a couple of days is going to be down to close to zero, that’s a pretty good job we’ve done.”
Was this consistent with what the medical experts around him were saying, gibberish?
Was his prediction about filling pews on Easter consistent with what the medical experts around him were saying?
Please respond, thank.

Source? Okay.
Feb. 26: “And again, when you have 15 people, and the 15 within a couple of days is going to be down to close to zero, that’s a pretty good job we’ve done.” — Trump at a press conference.
https://www.factcheck.org/2020/03/trumps-statements-about-the-coronavirus/
Gibberish, are Trump's statements that (a) cases would be down to zero pretty soon and (b) we would be filling pews on Easter consistent with the statements by the medical experts surrounding him?
The answer is obviously no. Are you capable of admitting this, or are you too infatuated with Trump to recognize basic facts?

Gibberish contention is that we should listen to trump because he has access to the best medical expertise in the world.
My contention is this access is irrelevant because trump is incapable of absorbing information as proven by his statements that contradict his advisors.
Pretty simple.

February 3: “It’s very, very transmissible, and it almost certainly is going to be a pandemic,” Dr. Anthony S. Fauci, director of the U.S. National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, told The New York Times. “But will it be catastrophic? I don’t know.”
February 25: "It's not so much a question of if this will happen anymore but rather more a question of exactly when this will happen and how many people in this country will have severe illness," Dr. Nancy Messonnier, the head of the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, said during a media briefing Tuesday.
Trump, February 26: Gonna be zero cases soon! Wooo! I did it and Kim Jong denuked!

And what were his recommendations at the time regarding this pandemic?
Trump has already said several times he's been trying to avoid a panic and trying to give people hope. Trump and Fauci have frequently been at somewhat opposite ends of the spectrum on this (like with HCQ and Z-pack treatments). So you can keep harping on that to "prove Trump wrong," but I have yet to see any evidence from you that Trump was actually refusing the advice of his task force.
Edit: And again, literally be definition pandemic indicates spread, NOT severity

Dr Birx said up until early March their data (largely from China) showed it following a SARS model and not being so highly contagious. Then Italy started spiking and they realized the data was massively flawed.

SARS and H1N1 were also pandemics. That doesn’t indicate severity. Just spread.

How do you know he wasn't listening to his advisors if you don't know what Fauci's recommendations were or if Trump followed them? I'd call that highly relevant.

Do you know what a pandemic means? As a starting point, it means more than zero cases ;-)

Does a pandemic by definition indicate severity? SARS was considered a pandemic and only infected about 8000 worldwide. Only 8 people were confirmed to have had it in the US. If Trump's advisors (which includes Fauci) believed this was tracking like SARS, would Trump and Fauci's statements have been contradictory?

And before that she said
The U.S. has been implementing an aggressive containment strategy that requires detecting, tracking, and isolating all cases. As much as possible and preventing more introduction of disease notably at points of entry. We’ve restricted travel into the United States while also issuing extensive travel advisories for countries currently experiencing community spread. Our travel notices are changing almost daily. We’ve also enacted the first quarantine of this scale in the U.S. And are supporting the state department and HHS in repatriating citizens from high-risk areas. We are doing this with the goal of slowing the introduction of this new virus into the U.S. And buying us more time to prepare. To date, our containment strategies have been largely successful. As a result, we have very few cases in the United States and no spread in the community. But as more and more countries experience community spread, successful containment at our borders becomes harder and harder. Ultimately, we expect we will see community spread in this country.
So yes, she believed community spread was coming. She also said they were aggressive about containing it. So Trump was HOPEFUL that those few cases would be it. Because again, data from China indicated it spread like SARS and was not as contagious as it actually is.

Feb 25.
"We are seeing it in South Korea, seeing it in Italy, seeing it in Japan and when you have that situation, it would be unrealistic not to realize when you have multiple countries in which you have sustained outbreak, that the chances of there being spillover into our country, namely a pandemic - which would involve virtually every country in the world, you have to be prepared for it," Fauci told host Bret Baier.

No, in late february the data did not suggest SARS.
February 2: The Wuhan coronavirus is spreading more like influenza, which is highly transmissible, than like its slow-moving viral cousins, SARS and MERS, scientists have found.

Same article:
Still, asymptomatic carriers “are not normally major drivers of epidemics,” Dr. Fauci said. Most people get ill from someone they know to be sick — a family member, a co-worker or a patient, for example.
They thought they were containing it and did not know the long incubation time. Maybe you should go spend some time w your "wife" and check her PSI.

You also act like Trump was doing nothing and just twiddling his thumbs while all this was going on. If he sat back and did nothing and assumed it would go away, fine. But on the 24th he was asking for funding to deal with it and by the 29th he decided the CDC was botching the testing stuff and got the FDA to approve certified labs coming up with one.
If he knew for a fact it was going away, then why did he ask for funding two days before?
