Fatalities didn't go down in other countries (italy, japan, sweden, germany, and spain etc) because the virus had infected 100% of the population or because the virus ran out of old or fat people to infect. Overall we know enough now that it's safe to say we're not going to suddenly fall off a cliff. Even if there are increases in deaths it's not going to have the detrimental impact on healthcare capacity that was feared. But yet policy makers are planning for social distancing in winter warming stations and asking for plans to have parks closed next summer. These people aren't going to give up control. |
