I dont dine there but If I did, Im fairly sure I would be overwhelmed by their 500-item menu and the 3.5 seconds Im allotted to make my selections.

It's not the apocalypse. The cheese they used for the quesarito layer had a funky taste. It was one of those "better in your mind items."
Potato items probably don't sell well at all. Removing it completely simplifies a lot of things from supply chain to storage to food prep.
The loaded grillers are the big bummer. A great value/taste point item. But there's only two on the menu and the potatoes are one of them. So that's obviously gone if they are removing potatoes completely. The beefy nacho griller has fritos in it and it looks like they are removing fritos entirely too, so I would expect that the beefy nacho griller will be back, without fritos, with a different name.

Quesarito - this was the best burrito on the menu
Potatoes - potatoes are a cheap as fuck ingredient. If anything, they should have more potato items. Maybe they eventually will make the Nacho Fries permanent, those seemed to be a big success. But for now, it's a bit of a 'fuck you' to vegetarians & people who liked variety
Killing the quesarito & the loaded grillers seems to me like they want to speed up the prep times by eliminating the option to get stuff grilled
All things considered, this is probably the worst thing that has happened in 2020 so far
