1) Minnesota - Lost their six best players to the NFL, their OC, and only return 5 starters on defense. Their record last year was a fraud as well - they went 6-1 in one score games and will not get that lucky again. Nebraska was banged up when they played last year and had a back-up QB making his first start. Nebraska may end up blowing them out like they did in 2018.
2) Iowa - They lost their four best players to the NFL draft or graduation and will be breaking in a new QB. Their offense wasn't that great to begin with and the defense won't be the same without their freak DE that crushed Nebraska last year. Iowa has beaten Nebraska on last second FG two years in a row and Nebraska will have better overall talent this year.
3) Wisconsin - Lost by far their best offense player in Jonathan Taylor, have weak skill players, and only return 2 starters on OL. They will take a big step back on offense. Their defense lost an all Big 10 & an All-American LB. They will still be very good, but those losses could hurt them against a team with a scheme like Nebraska. Nebraska has averaged 500+ YPG against Wisconsin since Frost has been there. |

I think they are finally building some depth at OL/DL and they all look the part at least now. Realistically this is gonna take another couple years for Nebraska to be where we want them to be. |
