The Mac mini is utterly perfect as a desktop. Pair it with your favorite 34" ultra wide monitor. Pop out the usb-c and toss it in a safe when you're going out of town. I can't recommend it highly enough for anyone that just wants to get shit done. (Note that all of my employees use iMacs because they're hard as fuck to steal).
