honestly, i don't really know.
i think its origin is Trump's push against mail-in ballots. whether because Trump pointed out the difficulty many places would face dealing with mail-in ballots with no experience and such short notice, or because Dems realized it would be a problem, i think they are pushing for mo money and mo staffing to process all the ballots.
apparently Trump is "starving" the postal service so they won't be able to make mail-in voting work?
i dunno, but something must be up because all the loudest voices on my feed are currently complaining about the same thing.

Libs do as they are told.
Their programming tells them to be mad at Orange Man, with his latest hijinks, and they dutifully follow.
You might as well have started a thread saying the sky is blue outside

The Dems are trying to pull off a giant scam. They sued in bunch of states such as PA and FL to allow for the counting of mail ballots that are postmarked AFTER election day. Thankfully the courts rejected it. But in PA Dems are suing to allow for the mail votes to be counted as long as they are postmarked by election day 8 PM EST and arrive at the office within 3 days after the election. Their argument is that in light of Trump's USPS comments, there is no guarantee that mail votes will arrive in time by election day and thus need a 3-day "grace" period. Of course, this allows time for Dems to cook the books like they tried so often.
I'm not a con law expert, but legally I wonder if there is a case that such an extension violates the equal protection clause due to imposing an arbitrary window for mail votes to arrive. The Bush campaign successfully used this reasoning in 2000 when they argued that the Florida counties' disparate vote counting mechanisms violated Bush's rights under equal protection clause.
