So Trump will never be the favorite to win. At best, he pulls off a clean win in enough battle ground states to capture the EC. If the election were tomorrow, he might just do that -- because EVERYTHING has been perfectly favorable to him over the past week or two. A decent convention, no impactful covid spikes, fiery riots in multiple cities.
Whether he will have conditions these perfect in early November is anyone's guess. Unlikely, but who knows. Trump needs a perfect week, Biden just needs Trump not to have a perfect week.
Comey really did win it for him in 16 and no one saw that coming. |
