It’s almost like quarterbacks are nearly impossible to judge just on the performance of their team

Philadelphia media has created a QB controversy almost every year since the SB. Messes with his mind. He was phenomenal last year IMO carrying that shit team to the playoffs down the stretch.

They need to get him a true WR1 and they need to re-vamp the coaching staff. They should have never drafted a gimmick QB in the second round.

A couple of things stand out to me. Wentz actually used to be pretty mobile-- a good running QB. With his injuries, the coaches and Wentz seem to be transitioning away from that type of game. However, that mobility and ability to make plays on the run really made him a good QB. I think back to McNabb and all the WIP idiots who said he should run less because he will get hurt running. That is his game though! Without his running ability McNabb was pedestrian at best.

Eagles have no receivers currently. They are pulling people off the street. Their second round pick last year, JJ Arcega-Whiteside has zero catches this year. Desean is hurt. Reagor, number one pick this year, is hurt. etc.

Eagles O-Line sucks-- again too many injuries.

Finally, I think losing out on being the Superbowl winning QB, numerous injuries, and pressure of playing in Philly have his brain scrambled. He might never get it back.

How many roll outs has he done this year? That should be a standard play for him

Eagles were an above average team that caught lightning in a bottle for a playoff run. It happens every now and then. But they were never going to be great for a long period.

"Above average" is doing a lot of work here. They were easily the best all around team in the league that year.
