Starting to get worried re: diversity leadership hire

Then last minute they picked a diversity hire female and told me that the reason I didn’t get it was because I’m “overqualified.” They gave me a pep talk to keep working hard and eventually something good will come.
She’s now getting paid $50k more than me even though she’s a legitimate moron.
There is no room in the corporate world for us. I’m going to quit and start up my own company but I’m just buying time. |
