I've literally tried these cases; the defense issue is usually not whether the travel happened (the USAO doesn't bring cases where it can't prove that, and cellphone location data gives them that in every case I've ever had), but whether intent to have the person engage in commercial sex acts was formed prior to the interstate travel. |
