Date: March 4th, 2021 4:03 PM Author: Odious Garnet Native I dont like the ugly square shifter. I dont like the ridiculous screen housing off an $18k Corolla or the infotainment. I dont like the switches for the temp controls. I dont like that when you drop the windows and they are wet the rubber seal thing doesn squeegee them dry like on every single other car I have ever owned. I know people bitch about gloss black in the shifter column but the matte black Toyota picked for the Highlander column is hideous. The seats are not real leather and the quality of the fo-leather is meh. It lets in a fuckton of road noise. The overall finish is just meh. Worse than my Stinger (though 10k cheaper) and even my old CX-5 had better overall finish.
The pluses are the V6 + the 8 gear on the XLE are going to last 250,000 miles. It's also not slow but its not fast. Just meh.
