At lower incomes, there’s a lot of tax relief, but as you start to phase out of that and hit the higher taxes you really get squeezed. The truly rich either have enough assets that their income isn’t important to them so the tax on that is likewise trivial, or so much income that they are still drowning in it after paying their taxes. The fool’s errand is ever thinking you can earn your way to being rich as a middle class professional. Lol. You’ll never be in the best neighborhood or drive anything beyond a Camry unless you just sell sell sell. |
