Russiacucks, can you name some ways that Russia is better off with this war?

not about the progress of the war or anything. just curious if any of you think Russia is or will be better off in the near future for having started this war than if they hadn’t
off the top of my head:
exposed as a paper tiger
tens of thousands of dead and wounded
tens of billions in lost and used equipment
economic isolation
irreparable damage to military and industrial supply chains
the scorn of most of the world, including 75% of Europeans and Americans
irreparable damage to energy export markets
forced to suck Chinese cock
personal sanctions on thousands and thousand of Russians and their families
capital outflow
brain drain with lots more to come
etc

Lmao, you’re retarded
Russia didn’t build any direct pipelines to China for many decades exactly out of the fear of the “yellow peril” and desire to not be a gas station
but they finally built a pipeline all along the Chinese border (idiots) and now they lost their major export markets in the west. if you can’t see how this is bad for Russia then you are dumber than I thought. and you’re someone who was dumb enough to wish for a war that completely destroyed her hometown

It's funny, the russia defenders on the board like TMF for example discard all discussions of "right vs. wrong" in favor of what is essentially an argument that "might makes right" arguing that there aren't any "rules" that state actors need to abide by because all that matters is the power dynamics.
This line of reasoning can be relied on to justify any of Russia's objectively wrongful actions like its invasion of its neighbors, Georgia and Ukraine (2008, 2014, 2022). No matter the factual backdrop or morality of the situation the response can be "you fucking naive idiot, there's no such thing as international law. russia is more powerful, so the smaller countries need to fall in line."
But somehow it doesn't apply to arguments about the US's actions. The US is without a doubt a more powerful and more influential country than Russia.
I don't know what you mean by "the west cannot declare stuff...in Russia's sphere of influence as their red lines."
Where's the rule on that? Where is it written that Ukraine and the rest of the former soviet states are forever to be under Russia's control? If the more powerful west and the people of Ukraine have a desire to move away from Russian influence and align with their neighbors to the west, then Russia doesn't "get" to claim a red line.

you’re such a fag. before the war and during the initial invasion you were all about offering your “expertise.”
“Hmm will Kiev fall in a month or a week?”
now that it’s a disaster for Russia you act above it all. eat shit, Russiacuck

I casually remarked that this war is a terrible idea for Ukraine and absolutely nothing that has happened since has changed that analysis. The carnage and destruction is absolutely breathtaking. The number of people fleeing the country is remarkable too. We don't even have family in Ukraine anymore - everyone left.
I don't see how anyone can look at this and conclude it is a disaster for Russia. You could probably argue that they'll end up with Ukraine, but one that is bombed out and with fewer people and that the victory will be expensive. I can't imagine they weren't aware of this before going in.
In any event, I'm loling that I'm the posterchild for the Russian side since my views are fairly moderate and I rarely post on this topic because one side celebrates dead Russians and the other celebrates dead Ukrainians. You, in particular, are a great example of that. It is extremely toxic and not at all productive for anyone. But best of luck in your war vitriol.

Early on I think that was the strategy. Quick victory to avoid the entire country being incinerated and a generation of young Ukrainian men dying, and, tbh, I'm non-ironically shocked that it didn't work. The fact that once that didn't work that this fell back to Soviet military doctrine shouldn't be surprising. This is exactly what many were worried would happen.
Depends on who. Some went east, most actually went West. Depends on what they do, where their assets are, and so on. Most had connections and assets in other places before this war started.

40 iq take.
Ukraine has been bombing the separatist regions nonstop since 2014 despite the Minsk agreements and killed 10,000 civilians. Zelensky said Ukraine both wanted to join nato and to acquire nukes. The Us and Europe have been training Ukraine for a war with Russia for many years.
Give me a break.

There were Minsk agreements that were supposed to prevent Ukraine attacking the separatists. Ukraine ignored them.
How is your second part anyway responsive to my comment? Why do you think Russia’s response on Ukraine’s ultra aggression needs to be proportional?
You have an extremely low iq. I don’t know how you hold down a job. Not flame.

No. Im referring to you specifically posting about how international law doesn't matter, that Russia is justified based on their right, as a powerful nation, to exert control and influence over their neighbors.
You're not the only person whose repeated this mantra.
If you believe this then there's no such thing as a red line or historical spheres of influence to be respected.

There are probably long-term scenarios where this debacle is actually a turning point for the modernization of Russia. Below is probably the rosiest of outcomes.
Russia could cut some sort of deal to get sanctions lifted. That would probably require leaving UKR entirely. While in shambles, their military will have gone through the kind of high-intensity modern warfare that no other military has gone through. Lessons can be learned, their military-industrial complex can adapt and design better systems and market them to other countries by pointing out that they know what actually works on the battlefield. They could emerge with a top-notch battle-tested military.
The oligarchs losing their assets in the west, fleeing the country, and/or losing influence is probably a good thing for the russian economy. Less pilfering and more investment in their companies could result. The west moving away from russian gas and oil may give the government the impetus to invest in other sectors of the economy.
Having watched the Russian economy and the ruble survive 8 years of brutal sanctions, foreign investors may jump back in when sanctions are lifted. Russia may have turned out to be more stable and more resilient than just about every other emerging market.

Better off? Sure, here’s a couple, duplicitous hahol filth:
1. Not having a NATO state in Ukraine at Russia’s doorstep
2. Reintegrating millions of pro-Russian slavs from Ukraine back into Russia
3. Battle hardening Russian troops against NATO warfare and tactics
4. Building an autarky in Russia that is immune from future European economic warfare
5. Strengthening alliances with China and India
6. Creating a swift alternative which dozens of countries have already joined
7. Massive new oil infrastructure will be created between Russia and China
8. Starving Europe of cheap oil which will wreck its industrial capabilities permanently
9. Severely weakens the pro-west 5th column within Russia itself (my favorite benefit)
10. Russian military tactics of slow moving heavy artillery plus s300/s400 are utterly unsolvable by the west , which relies on air superiority
11. A ruble that hasn’t been this strong in a decade, the west’s economic war has failed
I could go on but that’s enough for now I think

- take the only economically productive elements of ukraine, leaving it poorer and crippled
- improve their physical security
- expose the unexpected powerlessness of the west to attack its enemies
- demonstrate the unexpected ineffectiveness of nato weaponry and methods
- reunite millions of russians with their mother country
- form a bloc of likeminded countries uninterested in further western domination
- etc

Long term, Russia has managed to expose the West as a terribly flawed hegemon. Tons of quiet or just open dissent among developing countries such as China, India, and countries in Africa who are annoyed at how Biden in particular has ordered the rest of the world to pay the price for a war that doesn't really have anything to do with anyone outside of NATO.
The sanctions in particular have been brutal since Russia's such a huge exporter of energy, fertilizer and food -- recall Biden dispatching top national security aides to finger wag at India for buying some discounted Russian oil even though it was a fraction of what Europe continues to buy from Russia in a month.
Expect China and India and other plays to ratchet up setting up alternative payment systems and delinking from the western financial system to avoid the brutality of the sanctions we placed on Russia. Long run, Putin did a great job of delegitimizing us over our hysteria.

Not a Russiacuck, but the long-term strategic theory is:
1. destabilization/overthrow of GC - inflation spiral/global recession leading to food crisis leading to populist revolts/new wave communism leading to Chinese auhtoritarian administrative world order replacing GC. Rise of Marxism 3.0
2. Putin and Russia sell out to China
3. ?
4. Profit (= all labor)
