Abbott won 55-44 last year
We’ll see how 2024 goes now that libs have cried wolf for 9 years
Trump is currently polling +7-9 for 2024

What does Abbott winning 55-44 in an off year election have to do with anything? By that logic Michigan and Pennsylvania are safe democratic states.
Josh Shapiro (D) 3,026,961 56.5%
Douglas Mastriano (R) 2,235,660 41.7%

LOL you're delulu, son!
Do you know how fucking far behind you people are in Texas? It's insane. Look at the math homo. Your problem is places like Harris County are only giving you a 56/43 split, or D plus 200k. You're +40k in Sugarland. Your biggest haul is Travis where you're just under 300k. Dallas and Bexar giving you another 450k. And El Paso 90k. But that's it for y'all. You're at a million one in surplus in major cities, and that was Covid year where everyone was locked down and there was nothing to do.
Tarrant is a wash, Montgomery is getting 100k back the other way. The entire rest of the fucking state is against y'all. And it goes on for fucking forever. If you want to factor in the Dallas suburbs too your material lead is roughly 750k in the major metros. Just to put into perspective how small a lead that is, Los Angeles county gives Dems a 2 million vote surplus alone. That's more than double your entire war chest.
The entire rest of the fucking state save the border counties is putting up incredible high percentages for the GOP. You're seeing county after county with 70, 80, 90% GOP advantages, and they go on for fucking forever. Yeah some of these places are tiny but a lot of them have 5, 10, 20, 30k people. And virtually all of them are voting for Trump. It adds up.
The only way you people have a shot is if you mysteriously turn a place like Ft. Worth and The Woodlands blue by a 60/40 margin. And you would need Houston to take a deep ideological dive from a 56-43 county to something a lot more ideologically left. It's just not gonna happen. How many Californians do you think can possibly move there to move the needle? You can't. You just haven't dug in your claws enough. The people aren't moving from their position. It's a healthy GOP lead indefinitely.

To be fair,
Sure, and speaking of long term we're all headed for death. Guess that means we might as well just kill ourselves now!
Plus, I mean, shit it's not like anything could ever possibly change a "long term" demographic / political trend line, nothing ever changes the history of human civilization is just endless boring stasis... that's why the future is 100% totally predictable when it comes to demographics and politics, as we all know.

To be fair,
This was covered in my "("This is the year TX finally flips, trust me the polling trend is clear!" screamed liberal retards for the 40th year straight as the GOP prepares to pull off yet another clean sweep of every major elected office by wide margins)" parenthetical below, Ari.
They're really not sending their best with you guys these days, huh?

All the Latinos I know South of San Antone watch Fox News, carry guns, have military service, hates gays, go to church, and believe that races should stick with their own kind. Can't wait for these low propensity voters to get contacted from the gorgeous people at the DNC outreach program.
Jold on, joo say what? You cut keeds dick off?
"Juan, Juan... You don't understand. Trump is the greatest threat to our democracy. They're not losing their cocks, okay, they're just being affirmed by the gender they really are. Yes we're taking your guns away but it's because... Hello? Juan? You still with me?"

Bexar County 58-40 Biden. San Francisco County 85-13.
You got a long way to go homie to reach out to the low propensity voters bud. And besides repeating your belief that Republicans are dying off and being replaced, there are still tons of white children being born in rural America in 90% Trump counties. Your fantasies just don't add up to reality. You don't have the ideological grip on Latinos and major cities you think you do.

as poster above me correctly points out, Democrats have improved in every single POTUS election in Texas for the last 20 years with the exception of 2012 and that's only because Obama had a blowout year in 2008. Relative to how he did nationally in 2012 he still improved:
2004: R+23
2008: R+13
2012: R+16
2016: R+9
2020: R+6
But yeah, this isn't a clear as fuck trend line.

To be fair,
"Sorry, Trumpkins, but you're too stupid to understand that here in America, politics and demographics are simply endless marches to the left, and it's all utterly predictable -- anyway, 'tick tock tick tock' enjoy the final days of your fading TX GOP empire," sneered the smug Jewish liberal midwit on the internet as he pretended that we didn't all literally just watch FL flip hard and go from being a nailbiter purple swing state that decided the 2000 election by a few thousand votes to a solidly red state where Democrats barely even bother to try and compete anymore within the last ~20 years.
Almost as if this stuff isn't actually as simple and clear cut as blackpill demoralization kike Pumos on the internet would have us believe! But that can't be right... I mean, I know Jews, and they wouldn't lie to us about "politics," they're not like that... ;)

To be fair,
"Yeah on that point, this is also the year FL flips back to being a purple nailbiter swing state, trust me the polling trends are clear there, as well!" screamed the irate Jewish man on the internet, his yarmulke spinning wildly atop his sweaty bald head.
Haha yeah haha just keep your mask on and wait two weeks ;)

To be fair,
Yes, it's almost like states can and do change on both sides of the equation and this shit actually gets kind of complicated sometimes, and in fact literally none of the Trumpmos poasting in this thread have ever claimed otherwise AFAIK...
B-b-but wait, a Liberal Jewish Pumo assured me that America was just becoming uniformly shitlib and "red states" were going to go the way of the dinosaurs veddy veddy soon, "it's all so simple the trend lines are clear TX will be purple any day now that's how this shit works," etc etc etc?

if these trends were static than the democratic party would have just packed it in in 1984 when reagan won 49 states.
you guys are so naively confident and unthinking. all you have to do is open up a history book. the prevailing opinions of society and the consequences of that change over time.
also, political parties aren't real. they are entities made up of people. the dems and gop are completely different than they were in 1990 or 1950 or 1890 or 1860. can you guess why? it's because they are composed of the people currently living! and thus must represent the opinions of the people that exist at the time!
and as a practical matter, the parties will shift to capture votes and stay relevant. you democrats are especially good at this unprincipled realpolitik behavior. in the 90s biden was all about banning gay marriage and jailing superpredators. now he believes there are "at least three genders" and we should defund the police!
you don't even have to open a history book to see how things change. the GOP has gone from GOPe neocons to populism in the past decade. i've been hearing how texas is going to turn purple for like 20 years now. it's amazing how you guys can say the same thing for years and never question your premises when your predictions don't come true. it's sincerely amazing -- a complete lack of self-reflection and critical thinking.

great example of how libs can only think through the lens of partisanship.
where in my poast did i say this meant that the GOP is certain to win everywhere going forward? a careful reading where i intentionally said BOTH parties have changed over time should tell you i think things can go both ways.
yes, the fact that georgia and arizona have changed proves my fucking point. the stupidity of looking solely at trends without considering the that politics have *never* trended in one direction forever is exactly the point.
