for 2 people it will be 3 dollars of beef, two buns out of an eight pack I froze last time we made burgers, two slices of cheese and some roasted potatoes on the side

total cost, maybe 5 dollars

Your total outlay was a lot more than $5.

You probably bought 1lb of hamburger. That’s probably $4.99. It’s not $3. I go to the grocer everyday bro.

The 8-pack of buns was probably $2-3. It doesn’t matter if you freeze them.

You don’t have any condiments or fresh toppings listed.

You can’t buy just two slices of cheese.

So basically, assuming you had everything already at home, you spent at least $10-12. More like $20-30 if you had to buy all your fixins.

nope, I split the pound, so it was less than 3 bucks

it does matter that I froze them since I still have 4 left

mustard is essentially free

and the cheese will last until the next use easily

once you prorate, I'm correct

used the remainder of the meat to make a delicious meat sauce with penne last night, and had the leftovers for lunch, I figure that meal was about 6 dollars in total as well
