literally told family like a day before not to believe a suicide? That's tough to swallow

That actually makes me suspect he killed himself. What’s the motivation for the suicide narrative? Placing the blame on someone else so your family isn’t angry with you and mourns the loss. Seems way more likely he didn’t want his family to think less of him and this was a convenient story.

Same. I'm sure he's given depositions that can be used in court anyway- the bell has rung from Boeing's perspective.

idk man, suicidal people tend to want some attention, getting into litigation involving a defense contractor is a roundabout way to get away with it on the sly

i read this too but if you look into the dude he had been "suffering from anxiety and depression" for years, which his family point out.

most probable explanation is he was crazy. he wasnt high level at boeing, so unlikely he had some juicy secret that warranted an execution

its a massive company. doubt some mid level QA engineer knew anything. he probably just autistically freaked out when people told him he was overreacting to routine shit

"It's a massive company"

Which means there's a million potential vectors for info to leak.

He may not have been shown the documents, but may have heard something nasty and then had dozens of examples to show there was teeth to the rumor and concluded it was true.

45,000 flights in the USA per day. yeah im sure boeing's planes are doing some crazy egregious shit and we havent noticed yet. this one low leve QA dude had the smoking gun and needed to be executed (after he gave testimony). makes a lot of sense

Aeroflot has had a total of 8,231 passengers dying in Aeroflot crashes according to the Aircraft Crashes Record Office, mostly during the Soviet era, about five times more than any other airline.[109][110]
